If you have been prescribed this medicine for high blood pressure, keep taking it even if your symptoms significantly improve. High blood pressure may not display any symptoms. Some mild side effects include headache, dizziness, decreased sex drive, diarrhea or constipation. You need to stop taking torsemide and seek emergency medical assistance in case of having bloody stools, blood in your cough, fast or uneven heartbeat, muscle weakness, muscle pain, hearing loss, restlessness, lightheadedness and drowsiness. Torsemide is available in the form of tablets and injections.
